Request to Distribute Materials in Schools

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board accepts requests for distribution of digital materials including flyers, posters, and brochures. All requests are screened and must meet the following criteria to be approved. Complete the Material Distribution Request Form.

Criteria for Approval

Materials must be of educational value and in alignment with KPR goals and values.
Materials must be non-commercial in nature, from organizations with not-for-profit (NFP) status.
Materials must be culturally relevant, responsive and non-exclusionary/non-discriminatory.
Materials must be geographically relevant, within the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board jurisdiction or neighbouring communities.
Materials must comply with applicable legislation including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the Education Act.

Steps for Submitting a Request

Complete the Material Distribution Request Form.

If approved, the material will be posted to an internal website (accessible by KPR staff) where Principals can choose to share this information with their school community.

Reminders

This service is offered as a courtesy and is at the discretion of the Board.
We will not be communicating with schools on behalf of organizations. Approved organizations may wish to contact schools directly regarding participation.
Requests will not be approved from for-profit organizations, businesses, religious organizations or political parties.
Hardcopies will not be distributed. Electronic versions are required.
Speaker requests are to be made directly with the school Principal.
