Ramadan is an important time in the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims. Ramadan is a time for fasting, spiritual reflection, prayer, doing good deeds and spending time with family and friends. Ramadan begins at sunset on Wednesday, March 22 and lasts until sunset on Thursday, April 20. There is a special festival to mark the end of Ramadan.
