How do I find out which school my child should attend? |
The 'Find A School' app is a tool to help parents/guardians and community members find local schools, and to determine which school(s) their children should attend, based on their home address. You also may contact the Planning Department at the Education Centre at 705-742-9773 ext. 2034 or toll-free at 877-741-4577 ext. 2034. |
Can I send my child to another school outside my designated school boundary? |
If you would like your child to attend a school other than the one designated for your home address, you will need to fill out the Student Out-of-Boundary Request Form available on our Register for School page. As a rule, schools are able to take out-of-boundary students only if there is space left once they accommodate students within their own boundaries. Forms must be submitted to and approved by the receiving school's principal. |
