Summer School | Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board offers a variety of summer school programs. In person sessions run from June 29 - July 27, 2026, at the following campus locations:

Clarington – Bowmanville High School
Peterborough – Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School
Northumberland – Cobourg Collegiate Institute.

Summer school gives students in Grades 8-12 an opportunity to get ahead or catch up with their programs and classes. At KPRDSB summer school courses are available in-class, including the credit recovery program or as a cooperative education credit.

Please reach out to your child's school guidance office to pick up a registration package.

Programs are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (excluding July 1, 2026)

In order to enroll in a recovery course a student must have a mark between 35 and 49 percent. A student wishing to upgrade a credit that has already been obtained must enroll in the full four week course.
