Capital Funding Announcement – Merwin Greer PS Addition and Child Care

We are very pleased to share that the Ontario government announced funding this week for an addition at Merwin Greer Public School.

The province is investing $10.5 million for a new addition at Merwin Greer Public School to create more student spaces and child care spaces in a growing community. This project will, when complete, deliver 129 new elementary student spaces and 73 new licensed child care spaces for local families in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.

We welcome this new capital funding to address enrolment pressures, and we look forward to the building of this addition and child care centre, which will benefit students and families for many years to come.
