Capital Funding Announcement - Buckhorn PS Addition and Child Care

We are very pleased to share that the Ontario government announced funding this week for an addition at Buckhorn Public School.

The province is investing $6.4 million to create more student spaces and childcare spaces in the community. This project will, when complete, deliver 98 new elementary student spaces and 49 licensed childcare spaces. The child care centre will be operated by Trent Child Care, the current Before and After School provider at Buckhorn PS.

We welcome this new capital funding to address enrolment pressures, and we look forward to the building of this addition and child care centre, which will benefit students and families for many years to come.
