School Calendars

School Year Calendar 2026-2027

Thank you to KPR students, staff, families and community members for providing feedback on the proposed 2026-2027 school year calendar through a survey.

The 2026-2027 School Year Calendar was approved by Trustees at the February Board Meeting and approved by The Ministry of Education in March.

Highlights of the 2026-2027 calendar include the following:

• 1st day of classes – Tuesday, September 8, 2026
  
  
• Last day of classes – Thursday, June 29, 2027
  
  
• Winter Break – Monday, December 21, 2026 (Friday, Dec 18, 2026 will be the last day of school) through to Friday, January 1, 2027 (Monday, January 4, 2027 will be the first day of classes)
  
  
• March Break – (March 15 to March 19, 2027)

• PA Days – September 2, 3 and October 26, 2026, February 1, April 16, June 4 and June 30, 2027
