Summer School 2020
This year summer school courses will be offered through eLearning with face to face learning as an option if Ontario Public Health approves it. In online courses students will continue to read, work independently or as a member of a group, complete assignments and interact with their classmates and teacher. While students should plan to spend a minimum of 6-8 hours per weekday on their eLearning course, they will have some flexibility to choose when they work during the day, as long as they meet course due dates and times. Each course is facilitated by a teacher who establishes the timing of how the class works through the course material, in part to encourage collaboration and enable effective feedback. Students are encouraged to establish routines that will support this.
All classes are conditional upon sufficient enrolment and are subject to cancellation. You will be contacted by KPRDSB staff if a course is cancelled by the weekend of June 27th
Please Note: Pending future announcements from the Ministry of Education and Public Health offices, Summer School program offerings and schedules may change. Please visit the KPRDSB’s web site on a regular basis for any updates regarding programs and registration.
