Community Use of Schools
Schools are the centres of our communities. The Community Use of Schools program provides space to come together, to volunteer, build skills, access programs, become physically active and develop strong and healthy communities.
KPRDSB offers community agencies, parent groups, sports organizations, and local citizens fair access to school space at affordable rates during non-school hours, in accordance with Board Policy B-8.2 Community Use of School Facilities. Community Use of Schools is subject to availability and may not interfere with scheduled school activities.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITY INFORMATION NIGHTS
We are hosting a series of free Community Activity Information Nights to allow families and community members to explore some of the many activities that take place in and around local public schools. Join us to learn more about the many children's, adults' and seniors' activities, including sports and wellness, recreation, volunteer opportunities, child care, and after-school programs taking place in area schools and other community locations. Attendees can walk around and visit with different groups and organizations, sign up for activities, and even watch demonstrations!
