The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year course of study for students aged 16-19. It is internationally recognized and prepares students for university study in all disciplines.
The broad curriculum includes the study of languages, a social science, an experimental science, math, and an arts or second subject from another curriculum area. The subjects are often approached from an international perspective.
If students are interested in pursuing an IB Diploma, they must take a set of pre-IB courses in Grades 9 and 10.
The program involves rigorous assessment; each student's performance is measured against well-defined levels of achievement. These are applied equally to all schools.
