Career and Pathway Planning

Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board is committed to supporting students in their Education and Career Planning, including the transitions into, through and out of high school.

Each student in Grade 7-12 is required to have a digital Individual Pathways Plan (IPP) that they access and review, with support, twice each year. It helps students intentionally select courses and focus their academics to prepare for their chosen pathway.

myBlueprint, a Grade 7-12 Canadian online tool that has three key elements:

  • Career/ Education Planner  - student driven Individual Pathways Plan (IPP) portfolio
  • Course Selection - plan graduation requirements for Grades 9-12
  • SHSM Planner - promote, enroll and track Specialist High Skills Majors students
