The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board develops policies and corresponding administrative regulations to govern the day-to-day work of our schools and the Board.

Board policies represent the general principles which set forth strategic directions for the System and guide administration, staff and the Board in the delivery of sound academic, business, human resource and administrative practices. 

Board policies are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they remain up to date and relevant. As they are developed/revised and approved by the Board of Trustees, they are posted on the Board website.

Often, draft policies are posted on the Board website for review and comment by our school communities. The Board strives to ensure that feedback processes are made accessible to persons with disabilities.

Administrative regulations
support the intent of Board defined policy and outline specific requirements and step-by-step procedures to encourage precise execution of policies by the Board.
