2019 - 2022 Strategic Planning
Strategic Plan 2019 – 2022 – Excellence in Learning, Life and Community
In the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, we believe in the power of public education to improve the lives of students and make our communities stronger.
Our strategic plan, the result of many months of consultation and visioning, identifies key priorities for our schools and school board. It also guides our planning and decision-making, including how we allocate our budget.
Every four years we consult with students, staff, families and community members about the most important areas to focus on, to prepare all students for future success.
KPR launched a progressive strategic planning process to engage students, staff, families and our surrounding educational communities through face-to-face and electronic platforms. We hosted an online collaboration where people shared thousands of thoughts and applied over 80,000 ratings related to student achievement, wellbeing and success, to help us prioritize our work. Our Trustees and senior administrative teams considered all this data in the development of our 2019-2022 Strategic Plan.
We appreciate everyone's participation in this important process, and we are pleased to share our 2019 – 2022 Strategic Plan – Excellence in Learning, Life, and Community. Strategic Plan document
