Facility Partnerships
At Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board (KPR) there are two types of facility partnership opportunities; lease and co-build.
Lease Opportunities
Where schools at KPR have under-utilized space, the board can lease space to a group to use for their purposes (office space, childcare etc.). This group must be willing to act in accordance with the board Facility Partnership Principles, as well as enter into a rental agreement with KPR.
Co-Build Opportunities
Where KPR is planning a school expansion or re-build, community groups and partners can apply to contribute financially to the build and participate in the design of the project.
