COVID-19 Reporting

Due to recent provincial changes to case and contact management by the Ministry of Health and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, schools and school boards are not required to report on COVID-19 cases in schools. Please see COVID-19 cases in schools for more information about this change in reporting.

However, as part of our commitment to support student and staff safety and open communication, when we are informed of possible COVID exposures as a result of positive Rapid Antigen Tests or PCR tests, we will share that information with affected classes/staff and/or buses.  Daily case counts will not be listed on this website.

To support ongoing monitoring and transparency related to COVID-19 impacts on schools, we are reporting on student and staff absences daily. Data about staff and student absences in Ontario schools will be published on the provincial website every day at 10:30 a.m., excluding weekends and public holidays: www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-school-closures-and-absenteeism
