Adult and Alternative Education consists of six major program areas of either secondary school credit courses or non-credit programs for adults and elementary students. Secondary school credit courses are offered in three Centres for Individual Studies (CIS) campuses, through the Independent Learning Program operated from the Peterborough CIS, at Summer School, and in the International Languages Program. Non-credit classes are offered for adults in Literacy and Basic Skills, through the CIS. For elementary students, International Languages (K-8) and Summer School (Grade 7-8) are offered each year dependent on enrollment.
