Sarah Bobka is in her first term as Trustee, and was pleased to be elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Board this year. Sarah has a background in communications, sales & public relations, and has worked in both the government and private sectors. She holds an Honours degree in Language & Linguistics from Queen's University.
Sarah and her husband Jamie Davidson live in a rural community in Clarington, and are excited for their daughter Maddie to head off to school next year. As the only Board member with a young family, Sarah is using that lens and her fresh perspective to serve the KPR Board. She wants to make sure the children in her family, and yours, have safe, effective and dynamic schools that help prepare them for the changing world and their role in it.
Sarah believes in bringing people together and achieving consensus where possible. She is an out-going and resourceful leader who combines optimism and determination to face challenges head-on.
