Coordinated by the Purchasing Services Department, the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board supports the effective and efficient provision of education to students through ethical, efficient and accountable sourcing, contracting and purchasing activities.

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board coordinates the acquisition of all goods and services requirements according to Board policy (BA-5.1). Bid Opportunities for the provision of goods and services are advertised in accordance with Board policy through the use of electronic media.

To assist the Board and to provide our vendors with timely and cost saving mechanisms to view and bid on our opportunities, we are now updating our electronic tendering service. Biddingo is an online portal that connects vendors providing various goods and services to buyers from the provincial, municipal, education, crown corporations, housing, construction, healthcare and private sectors from across Canada.

Effective February 1, 2011, all our formal competitive bid opportunities will be posted on Biddingo.com. This service will provide businesses with information regarding bid opportunities available from the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.

All Board acquisitions exceeding $50,000.00 must be acquired through a formal competitive Tender or RFP process. All competitive bid opportunities may be accessed at www.biddingo.com/kprdsb

Please note the Board does not maintain a bidders list. All requirements will be advertised as per Board Policy (BA-5.1) and posted as indicated above. It is the responsibility of interested parties to check for opportunities through the electronic media we have adopted.
